The Master of Science in Nonprofit Management offers a comprehensive core curriculum that addresses all aspects of nonprofit management. Offered in a collaborative cohort learning model, students go through the program as a group and graduate as a group. Cohorts of 10 to 20 students allow for individual attention from skilled faculty working in the field. Courses reflect the most current research in nonprofit education. The Spertus Cohort model enables students to focus on their studies according to a pre-set class schedule. You won't waste time registering for courses, and books are delivered to your classroom. This means 100% of your time in the program is spent on attending classes and learning. Located in Chicago's vibrant Loop, learning, restaurants and culture are all right here.
Offered in 3 formats, the MSNM fits your schedule: 1 evening-a-week, 2 evening accelerated evening program and an accelerated daytime program that allows you to complete in one year. The daytime program also offers an internship in Chicago's dynamic nonprofit community, offering our students the ablity to apply what they have learned in the classroom in their chosen field. 80% of our daytime students who participate in the internship program have been placed in a nonprofit organiztion within 3 months of graduation, some receiving multiple offers.
Concentrations available in Fundraising Management, Human Services Administration, and Jewish Communal Services
