Program description

The Queens Fellowship is seeking mid to senior level professionals working for community, faith-based, government, and non-profit organizations serving Queens to join our 2013-2014 cohort. Must be dedicated to uniting communities and strengthening the borough of Queens.

Over the past 20 years, Queens has become the epicenter for diversity - residents of Queens were born in over 100 nations and speak over 130 languages. The Queens Fellowship aims to convene leaders throughout the borough and challenge them to engage in community building, collaborate to find solutions, and create a better quality of life for all. Ultimately, the Fellows will be able to utilize their diversity as an asset to themselves, their agencies, their communities, and Queens as a whole. Fellows participate in monthly professional seminars, personal development trainings and networking opportunities with key decision makers in our city.

The Fellowship will run from September 2013 – June 2014.
