Program description

The Development Gap is partnering with UNITAS of Jamaica to build a new Learning Centre in Kingston. The address has already been chosen and the funding lined up. We are looking for skilled volunteers to come and take part in the experience to create a centre for technology and learning in order to keep Jamaica relevant in the 21st Century.

We would like to start this assignement for the first 2 weeks of September.

Volunteers will be provided free housing and some level of food and comfort, however, it up to volunteers to supply their own travel tickets, living expenses and leisure funds. This is to be considered a working holiday where you are allowed free travel around the island thanks to our network of empty rooms around the island in the houses of retired members of the Moravian Church.

While UNITAS is a church organisation, you do not need to be Christian to take part in this project. It is strictly professional and your leisure time will be yours to spend as you like!

Please read more about the project here and then fill out the form indicated by the "Sign Up" button!: http://www.thedevelopmentgap.com/unitas-project-page.html
