Silicon Valley: Powered By Lovehttp://glide.rally.org/is a unique online fundraising contest that will give 10 winners a chance to meet with some of Silicon Valley's biggest investors.
The contest, which begins today and lastsuntil January 9th, calls on the tech community and entrepreneurs everywhere to raise money for GLIDE's efforts to alleviate suffering and break the cycle of poverty.
The top five "Fan Fundraisers" – along with five randomly selected donors – will win an opportunity to sit down with Silicon Valley all-stars: Mike Maples, Kevin Rose, Eric Ries, Tim Ferriss, and John Occhipinti. The grand prize, which will go to the person who raises the most money for GLIDE, also includes an invitation to watch a San Francisco Giants game in Ron Conway and SV Angels' suite, an experience with the investor of his or her choice, and roundtrip airfare to the Bay Area.
