Programme Description
The MA Theatre Practices engages with the vibrant theatre community of London to provide exciting opportunities for creative practice, research and professional development. This programme seeks to enable students to explore theoretical frameworks for the study of contemporary theatre as an interdisciplinary art form, whilst allowing each student to develop their own practice by experimenting with new critical approaches, creative forms and methodologies.
Core courses enable students to locate their own practice and research within the contemporary scene and optional courses provide scope for practical experimentation in a range of specialist areas. Each student can choose his or her own pathway through the MA with a combination of optional courses, an optional work placement and a practice as research Theatre Project.
Specialist pathways offered within the MA are: Applied Drama; Devising and Directing; Playwriting; Digital Performance; and Music Theatre.

The University is looking for a CGPA of at least 3.0. We do not require any other tests. Application is free to most UK institutions; Greenwich is no exception.
