When you travel through the African Community Exchange, you will feel like you are part of the Tanzanian community. We live and work in the local communities. We know the people and their struggles, and our mission is to provide support in places where it is needed.
Not only will you volunteer, but you will travel throughout the local neighborhoods to gain a deeper understanding of Tanzania, it's people, and it's culture. Our staff will not only be your guides and your teachers on this journey, but they will become your Tanzanian family as well.
Each morning, you will work at your volunteer placement. Choose from one of the following placements:
- Teaching and working with children
- Coaching
- Working with orphans
- HIV/AIDS project
- Women's empowerment projects
