Program description

The Human Rights Centre of the United Nations mandated University for Peace is accepting applications for its 3rd Annual Field Course on Indigenous Peoples' Rights that will take place from 5 - 11 August, 2013 in Costa Rica. The course is recommended for staff of human rights NGOs and other civil society organizations, practitioners, academics, and students studying in areas of indigenous peoples' rights, human rights, environment, gender, and development. Past participants have come from a wide range of fields with diverse professional and educational experiences.

There are only 15 spaces available and participants are accepted on a combination of first-come-first served, qualifications, interests, gender balance and geographical representation. Discounts are available for groups of two or more. Please visit www.hrc.upeace.org for more information.
