This project seeks to empower the women and young mothers and youth living in Ngandu and Githembe villages in Dagoretti Division, Nairobi, Kibera Slums, Gatwekera village and Sihay Village, Ugenya District, Nyanza Province. The women and youth are in the process have formed groups which will be avenues for support. Hesed Africa in collaboration with partners trains the groups in aspects of *entrepreneurship,* *leadership skills*, *decision making* and governance skills. The women and youth have various skills in craft and art. They will use the skills for income generation. The organization seeks for support to open a craft center where product and design of the crafts will be conducted. The organization is seeking for grants for the women and youth to enable them start the income generation activities.
