We are looking for 15 individuals motivated to pursue a lifelong career in healthcare to come work with us!
Our 2013-2014 program is designed to:
Help our community understand their healthcare options-- and the changes with health reform.
Give people the health information they deserve to make informed choices for themselves and their families.
Lend ALL community members and patients a hand in their goals of achieving health and well-being-- and ensure they can count on us to be reliable and supportive in these efforts.
Promote preventive health measures-- starting with 100% healthcare coverage and the healthy weight of ALL children.
Support veterans, their networks, and ensure that their well-being becomes a greater priority to our communities.
Ensure an AmeriCorps/Community HealthCorps service year that is helpful to the community, to our healthcare providers, to all staff, to all community partners--- and allow our workers to capitalize on a tremendous learning opportunity.
We want you to leave us with the mentorship, training, experience hearing from patients and their stories, and to develop a deep understanding of the current successes and current obstacles in healthcare.
We need you to leave us inspired to pursue a career dedicated to improving the health and well-being of ALL communities.
