2013 Call for Presenters
Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City (BBBS of NYC) is looking for talented, engaging workshop presenters to facilitate web-based seminars (webinars) and in-person workshops for the Fall 2013 Professional Development Workshop Series. Each presenter will work with BBBS of NYC as an independent consultant supporting the Center for Training and Professional Development in its execution of the Professional Development Workshop Series (PDWS).
BBBS of NYC's Center for Training and Professional Development endeavors to train professionals to develop formalized mentoring programs; to provide resources to assist youth-serving organizations in developing, expanding, and improving their organizations; and to provide professional workshops to enhance personal and organizational goals through the PDWS. Since 1992, The Center has been providing training and technical assistance to hundreds of youth-serving organizations throughout New York City, the United States, and internationally.
Workshop/webinar presenters will address topics relevant to non-profit professionals. Areas of focus may include but are not limited to:
Skills/Experience Required:
•Proven success in interactive workshop and/or webinar facilitation
•Excellent public speaking skills
•Proven ability to motivate and engage an audience
