Description

The Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Global Mental Health is an innovative two years plus, 60-credit program in which students complete two summers and two academic years. The program was developed in partnership with Dr. Richard Mollica, Director of the Harvard Center for Refugee Trauma. Dr. Mollica also serves as a professor and teacher in this program.

  • How to offer effective and culturally compentent mental health services in international settings.
  • Develop the capacity to assist in health and mental health planning and evaluation in local and international NGO's, United Nations' agencies, and academic centers.
  • How to consider large systems and international issues of public health, economic disparity, heath care access and other pressing issues that impact successful intervention.
