A time apart to listen, to reflect, to be still: This retreat includes showing of new DVD series by Thomas Keating, "The Gift of Life: Death & Dying, Life & Living" with discussion; new teachings on the contemplative dimension of life, the dying process and the spiritual journey; 3+ hours of Centering Prayer daily in common; silence & solitude; daily celebration of the Eucharist & Lectio Divina; opportunity to meet individually with retreat leaders for spiritual companioning.
Fr. Carl Arico is a founding member and serves as vice president of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. and Circle of Service representative for the Keating Legacy which is entrusted with works of Fr. Thomas Keating. He is an editor and contributor of the Contemplative Life Program, and the Heartfulness and The Gift of Life series. He is well known for his gift of transmitting teaching on the spiritual journey in a down to earth, practical and sometimes humorous manner.
Mary Anne Best serves as finance and development director of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. She has written a number of the Contemplative Life Program books, and is an editor of the Heartfulness and The Gift of Life series. She is a frequent Centering Prayer retreat leader.
