Alternative Break Program

Do you want to make an impact this summer? Well, think no further! Haiti in Transition (H.i.T.) would like to invite you to experience Haiti in a different light. Our organization will be going to Port-au-Prince, Haiti this August to conduct leadership training sessions at a local school, and we're inviting qualified volunteers to join us on the trip! This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in visiting and volunteering in Haiti this summer! Haiti in Transition is a non-profit organization whose mission is to project a more positive image of Haiti through the engagement of its youth. We are based in Washington, D.C but implement ourprograms on the ground in Haiti.

We conduct leadership training sessions for disadvantaged Haitian youth in order to empower them to become agents of change in their local communities. Our goal is to foster motivated and visionary young Haitians to rebuild their own nation. Please share this opportunity with those in your network whom you feel might be interested!
