Resource description

Empowerment through Education and Exposure (EEE) is a community-based nonprofit organization co-founded in 2008 by Erica Earnest and Kashanna Eiland. EEE's mission is to bridge the gap between underprivileged and advantaged youth. Our programs are designed to build character, develop confidence, deter violence and drug abuse, and motivate youth to overcome socio-economic obstacles. EEE targets communities that have high rates of poverty, violent crime, domestic distress, and where youth are not positively engaged with their skills. Since our inception, we have serviced over 400 youth. We fulfill our mission by offering the Future Endeavors and Green LUNGS programs. Future Endeavors is a college preparatory and career development program, and Green LUNGS is an urban gardening and green technology program.
