Trigger of Light

Trigger of Light is a stage or audio play made up of monologues, scenes and narrative that grew out of Pamela Sackett's work in King County Youth Detention Facility in Washington state. Detainees' writings and verbatim excerpts from interviews with adults who affect their lives make up most of this collage of voices. The result is a poignant, thought-provoking and affecting story with an emotion literacy perspective and a glimmer of hope for change. The play is useful for gatherings, classes or groups concerned with understanding at-risk youth.
