Searching for a Fiscal Sponsor

Members of Modern American Society has operated for nearly 3 years with almost no resources. We have managed to raise funds when necessary in order to cover the costs of materials for our students. However, as our enrollment continues to increase, it becomes more and more necessary to secure more substantial funding in the form of grants and large donations. We are currently making plans to incorporate as a 501(c)3, but are looking for a fiscall sponsor in the mean time so that we can apply for grants directly.

An ideal fiscal sponsor would be a non-profit or foundation in Northern California that provides some type of re-entry or support services to formerly incarcerated individuals. Hopefully, we would be able to work together to combine our resources and enrich each others' programs through cross-promotion, referral and complementary services.
