Applications due February 1 for C. Fox Communications, Outreach Strategies, and PunditWire Fellowships in Partnership with American University's Graduate School of Communication

The School of Communication (SOC) has partnered with leading DC based media organizations to offer fellowships to graduate public communication students. Fellowships provide tuition remission and/or stipend to attend SOC's 12-month graduate public communication program and allow students to simultaneously gain professional experience.

Fellows work on high-profile projects at the partner organization during the course of study. During the fall and spring semesters, graduate fellows with C.Fox Communications and Outreach Strategies spend 15-20 hours a week dedicated to the partner organization and 35-40 hours during the summer. Graduate fellows with PunditWire spend 10 hours per week for 12-months working on the political commentary website.

Applicants must submit a full application to AU's graduate public communication program plus the public communication fellowship application form(s) and all supporting materials. To apply to multiple fellowships, applicants must complete separate fellowship applications to accompany the one application for the public communication graduate program.
