Women and girls are the backbone of our communities, so it's vital to provide them with the resources to allow them to thrive. That's why GOOD is giving $2,500 to an idea that empowers and uplifts females. How could you positively affect their lives in your community? Perhaps you would teach a computer literacy course to women in Haiti, provide free maternal health advice to new mothers, or hold a retreat to boost self-confidence of local teen girls.
Empower Women and Girls challenge is open for submissions from September 19 to October 17 (noon Pacific Time). From October 18 to November 2 (noon Pacific Time), we'll open it up to public voting. Rally your colleagues and friends to get behind your effort and join the GOOD community in selecting the winner.
