Resource description

Accord is published by Conciliation Resources, in print and online. Each issue analyses a specific peace process. It provides the primary texts of the peace agreements along with authoritative background and analysis by contributors with first-hand experience of the particular process. The publication seeks to inform those involved in peacemaking, peacebuilding, humanitarian relief and development, both locally and internationally. It also seeks to develop collaborative relationships that engage local peace research/action organisations and increase their international profile. The first issue of Accord published in 1996 examined the war and peace process in Liberia. Issues published since then have focussed on the peace process in Guatemala, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Philippines-Mindanao, Georgia-Abkhazia, Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Colombia, Tajikistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea-Bougainville, Angola, Nagorny Karabakh and Sudan amongst others.
