DEEDA is an award winning documentary production company and impact agency working to advance human rights, humanitarian aid and global development.

We are dedicated to sharing stories from the field, raising awareness about global inequities and supporting innovative development, advocacy and film projects.

We produce and catalyse social impact media and provide advocacy and consulting services to filmmakers, activists, and international organizations aiming to maximize responsible impact. Through our DEEDA OPS division, we invest directly into humanitarian grassroots initiatives, providing project and communications support for campaigns and local development programs.

DEEDA founded the Social Impact Media Awards (SIMA), an annual international documentary and educational impact media competition + showcase, providing a springboard for creative media that exemplifies excellence in its potential to inspire change.
