Who We Are - Diversity Abroad was founded in 2006 with a simple idea, to make education abroad accessible and relevant to diverse and underrepresented students. Over the course of the last 10+ years Diversity Abroad has transformed from a simple idea to become the leader in connecting talented diverse and underrepresented students and alumni to meaningful international education opportunities that can be leveraged for academic success and career development. Additionally through its consortium, the Diversity Abroad Network, Diversity Abroad partners with educational institutions, government agencies, for-profit and non-profit organizations committed to developing and advancing diversity and inclusive good practices that increase access, achieve greater diversity and foster inclusive excellence in global education.
Our Vision - That the next generation of young people from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds are equipped with the skills, knowledge and global acumen to thrive in the 21st century interconnected world and global workforce.
