I am currently finishing up a teaching fellowship in France through the TAPIF program. The Teaching Assistant Program in France is a 7-month fellowship that focuses on cultural exchange. I work within the English teaching departments to improve and expand students' knowledge on cultural interchange. I also help to improve language proficiency across many grade levels.
My professional experience includes working in youth leadership programs, college advising, and admissions. My experience in admissions is both from an undergraduate and graduate level perspective, so I am well versed in what student concerns arise at each level of higher education.
My career goal is to work in higher education with a focus on college preparation and international education. One of my goals in this career to increase options for minority and low-income youth to higher education.
I graduated from Valparaiso University in 2013 with my Bachelor of Science in Education.
