Currently employed as Special Initiatives and Volunteer Coordinator at Housing Works, using fashion, art and home interior product auctions to fundraise for HIV/AIDS advocacy and health services.
Graduated The George Washington University with a BA in Communications, minor in Judaic Studies. Highlights of my college experience include Spring 2012 Study Abroad in Prague, Czech Republic (studying Jewish Studies), membership in Phi Sigma Sigma sorority (formal chair, sister development chair, and dance chair positions held), and my work with the National Archives and BBYO.
Work experience includes development, event and program work for government, private, and non profit organizations, development work (event planning and logistics, grant writing and compilation, social media and website work, marketing and promotional material creation), communication work (press releases, marketing and communication materials, emails, etc.) and facilities and operations experience as Director of Operations and Facilities.
Other interests include dance (choreography, teaching, performing, watching), being creative (reading, writing, blogging, crafting), finding new and fun opportunities to volunteer, eat, or see!
