My ideal position would include a variety of tasks, such as web development work, computer technical support, and user IT training. Currently, I am looking for jobs within a short commute of Chapel Hill, NC.

As an IT professional with a background in Information Science and Sociology and several years of experience in the non-profit sector, I am seeking a job in which my computer skills will support the mission of an organization whose vision I share. Through years of part-time work in IT consulting, I've gained a strong set of computer skills, as demonstrated by my CompTIA A+ certification and Network+ certification. In my current job as Lab Associate/Web Developer with UNC's Digital Innovation Lab, I collaborate with a team to design and develop Wordpress plugins to support humanities scholarship. In addition, I lead a team of undergraduates.

I've also applied my computer skills to the non-profit world by volunteering with TABLE, a hunger-relief organization in Carrboro, NC. Since 2008, I've worked there in various roles (now Board member), developing the Access database that they use and handling all IT needs.

I am passionate, meticulous, and driven, and I'd be a great addition to nearly any team!
