Angel Reach: Director of Development, April 2016-Present • Works as development point of contact and chief spokesperson for the organization. • Develops and implements development strategies: This includes: o Organization's individual giving plan. o Sets targeted outreach goals for outreach into faith-based communities, corporate entities, and individual giving. o Budget planning and reporting • Works with Angel Reach leadership to research and identify prospective donors. • Prepare, utilize and manage donor database. Montgomery County Election Administrator: Manager of Financial Operations, 2015 to 2016 • Responsible for all financial aspects of Elections Department, including inventory and purchasing, payroll, assistance in budget preparation, assist in the development and oversight of annual budget, management, and compliance with all federal, state, and county laws. Assists Elections Administrator in election related duties, including scheduling and supervision of part-time employees. Represents Elections Administrator in her absence, as authorized. • Other duties and Special Projects include: Managing and maintaining the Department's Records Retention Schedule and reporting and management of HAVA (Help America Vote Act) protocols. Spring Independent School District: Teacher, 2013-2014 School Year • Teacher of record at Roberson Middle School, A Math, Science, and Fine Arts Academy • 8th grade United States History teacher, Roberson Middle School is a Discovery Assisted Learning (DAL) campus. All students are taught through Project Based Learning initiatives. • Designed and implemented Social Studies related lesson plans. Quest Restoration & Construction Services, LLC: 2005-2006 (Project Manager) • Company focused on disaster preparedness, response, recovery and reconstruction. • Worked with disaster construction teams in the wake of Katrina in New Orleans area. Managed a group of 90 construction contractors responsible for implementation of a portion of the "Blue Roof" emergency response plan. • Included quality verification of work completed, organizing teams for logistical efficiency, (route planning, supply tracking, employee training), and payroll considerations. • Also spearheaded several reconstruction efforts totaling 500k in the private sector. • Used GIS to target areas meeting specific criteria, providing proactive insight into areas needing extensive assistance after a disaster occurs. Civic Promotional Ventures, LLC: 1996-2010 (Director of Operations) • Director of highly sought after direct marketing/fund raising company. • Generated revenues in excess of 1 million dollars per year for various clients. • Planned and managed all aspects of promotional campaigns for civic, non-profits, and police organizations, including donor retention and targeting for revenue expansion. • Built upon or maintained stakeholder relationships from existing portfolio. • Included development and implementation of processes for data storage, data collection, business to business presentations for large corporate clients, and mass mail campaigns targeting the specific needs of each organization. • Responsible for oversight and direct management of 25+ across 3 locations. • Formed relationships with local business community and various civic organizations. • Performed all business operations management functions including human resources, financial reporting, GL verification, AR, AP, payroll, 1099 preparation, and other accounting functions.
