I began my first full-time paralegal position in 2009 at Buche & Associates, PC, an intellectual property firm, where I worked as a paralegal (and basically an office manager, secretary, and receptionist), I learned how a proper business runs inside out. I learned the importance of organization, keeping up with deadlines, and attention to detail. I also refined my computer skills in all of the Microsoft Office programs, and legal research software. I communicated with clients constantly and my boss often received compliments on what a delightful paralegal he had.
I enjoy Spanish. I studied Spanish at the University of Barcelona, Spain in 2002 and then in 2006 at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I lived and worked in Argentina for almost 3 years after graduating from CSULB in 2007, where I spoke in Spanish daily. I further studied with translation courses at UCSD. I now tutor Spanish in my spare time at the Tutoring Club in Encinitas to elementary and high school students.
