I am a true generalist with an ethic-driven work life and a relationship-driven home life. I'm defined by the balance between the two.

As a generalist, my core skill is to learn new skills quickly and adapt. I seldom gain mastery in the way a specialist will, but there are a thousand little tools in my box, all of which I use better than average. This is not to say that I am without focus or discipline, but I've learned that I'm at my fullest potential when approaching something totally foreign and challenging.

I believe that a person's non-work habits and values say more about their potential as an employee than any resume ever will. In my own home life, I strive to be a good domestic and romantic partner to my spouse, a belevolent companion and guide to my two dogs, a loyal friend to the dozen irreplaceable friends we're allotted in this life, and to take care of my body and mind by eating well, meditating, and practicing tai chi.
