After a 22-year career in New York in translation, interpretation, public relations, promotions, and branding, I relocated to Monaco working there for six years. I returned to New York in 2012, freelanced in interpretation/translation, and relocated to Miami in September 2015.
I am fluent in French, Spanish, Italian, and English, and have applied that to a wide range of projects requiring the translation of websites, as well as managing other large volume translation projects. I was well prepared for these projects having previously run translation services for McKinsey & Company and Bowne & Co. My accomplishments have also included the planning and preparation of major international events for various components of the United Nations and their large undertakings such as Ocean Stewardship, UNICEF, and the Global Partners Polio Summit.
I have also worked in the luxury hospitality sector at The Peninsula Hotel in New York as Director of Public Relations. Early in my career, I was privileged to work for Sacha and Alexis Lichine, famous Margaux vintners, and Regine and Roger Choukroun, at Regine's New York.
I have a BA in French from Tufts and an MA in Linguistics from the University of Colorado, as well as Certification from Georgetown University in Simultaneous Interpretation and Translation.
As my background and training would suggest, I am refined, widely informed, well-traveled, and highly educated in my many interests and knowledge.
Given my international experience, multiple competencies, and command of several languages, I have talents that can serve your clients and colleagues very well.
I look forward to being of value to you in your current and upcoming projects.
Best personal regards,
Roanna "Ronnie" Martin-Trigona
