Hmm... we couldn't find that place in our database.
Are you sure it's correct?
My passion is enhancing and preserving peoples' unique relationships to place and to land.
I work as an independent consultant to support organizations that protect the land and natural resource rights of vulnerable people (especially women), plan (alongside communities) spaces that improve interconnectedness and livability, and conserve both public and working spaces for the good of all citizens. I strongly believe that land is "not simply an economic or environmental asset, but a social, cultural and ontological resource," and that, "indeed land is fully embodied in the very spirituality of society" (Framework and Guidelines on Land Policy in Africa).
I have more than eight years of research and practical experience in the areas of international & community development, land & property rights, and race & social justice. I use my strengths as a project manager, communicator and researcher to help organizations ask and answer sticky "how" and "why" questions about the problems they are working to solve, and the methods they are using to solve them. My approach is built on deep experience working on behalf of non-profits, NGOs and government agencies, as well as graduate-level training in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
