I'm a brazilian architect with a Masters in Architecture and Urban History, living in Rio de Janeiro.
I'm working for more than 2 years at a NGO called Soluções Urbanas (http://www.solucoesurbanas.org/ or https://www.facebook.com/ongsolucoesurbanas - portuguese only), that develops affordable housing projects in areas of special social interest and giving technical advice to social housing improvements in a "Favela" carioca (Shanty Town). We recently won a prize from American Planning Association due to our work in poor comunities. I have done some small school projects and for 2 years I worked in one of the most known Lighting designers in Brazil. I've done many volunteer works in my city with the homeless people and I have travelled to other Brazil's states to do humanitarian work in indigenous communities (major with the Caiowás).
I'm in search of an opportunity to grow as a person, being immersed in others culture that has different ways of thinking and developing their spaces, improving my languages skills, aquire more technical knowledge in differents areas and contribute in the best way possible to make a better place wherever I am.
