Recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest, I love writing, editing, and research and would love to find a job out here that combines my skills and passions.

I am very interested in media literacy and gender studies, two fields in which I already have work experience. I spent a summer as an editorial intern with Ms. magazine where I gained valuable fact-checking, copy-editing and research skills. I also spent a year interning with the media literacy organization Project Look Sharp where I created my own media literacy lesson plans. I also fact-checked and copy-edited previously written media literacy curriculum kits with a focus on reviewing representations of gender.

I attended Ithaca College and got a B.A. in Journalism with minors in Spanish and Women's Studies. I have strong critical thinking skills, which are beneficial for journalism, media literacy and gender analysis, among other things. I have the ability to effectively communicate verbally, on paper and from behind the camera. I am excellent at media comprehension and analysis, a talent I learned from my journalism classes and honed with my media literacy internship.
