Hmm... we couldn't find that place in our database.
Are you sure it's correct?
Jennifer directs the logistics for 80 to 100 training events each year, which reach over 3500 nonprofit professionals across Oregon. In the annual planning process for NAO's various nonprofit networks, Jennifer effectively engages nonprofit leaders in each community to determine program content and delivery. Jennifer coordinates a 60-member team of nonprofit experts and trainers who offer knowledge resources, tools, and models nonprofit leaders need to build sustainable organizations. Jennifer also co-manages marketing and outreach for NAO training and convenings, and builds relationships with corporate sponsors.
Prior to joining NAO's training team in 2001, Jennifer led an adventurous life as an environmental educator and tour guide for the Curacao Sea Aquarium, where she also developed and maintained aquarium exhibits and displays. She also served as a Marine Biology instructor to students 15 to 18 years old and coordinated environmental science education programs at the Catalina Island Marine Institute in Catalina Island, California.
Jennifer considers her top accomplishments to be the development of project management and tracking systems, expanding NAO's corporate sponsorship program, and launching the South Willamette Valley Nonprofit Network in Eugene in 2012. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Leisure Studies and Services, with a minor in Environmental Science and Geology, from the University of Oregon. She also attended Western Culinary Institute.
When not building strategic partnerships, coordinating the NAO Events Calendar, or dreaming up new office efficiencies, you can find Jennifer traveling all over Oregon (and the world) looking for the best spots to dive, sail, camp, and back-country ski. In between her travels, you will often find Jennifer preparing elaborate meals for her circle of friends.
