    About me

Since the 10th grade, I have been enamored with the work that is done at the United Nations and have possessed a strong desire to work with the organization. Although the main focus of the UN is foreign policy, I have developed a deep interest in the humanitarian contributions that the United Nations gives to the world and how the work that is accomplished there contributes to humankind. I am currently working towards a major in Humanities - Prelaw, Japanese & Spanish Minors, and a Specialization in Asian Pacific American Studies. I have become very passionate about international law focusing on human rights and crimes against humanity. I want the responsibility and privilege to defend those whose rights have been violated or ignored. I also want to provide a voice for those who are unable to stand up for themselves because I understand how important it is to be heard and equally represented.

Michelle imagines a world in which...

I can make a positive and indelible difference to those who are suffering the unimaginable, providing a voice for the silent and scared, and fighting for those who's human rights have been violated and or ignored.
