I'm an M.Ed student in Human Sexuality Education at Widener University seeking to humanize the exploration of gender and sexuality with kindness and vim!
I'm an educator and artist who seeks to intellectually combine feminist, psychoanalytic and queer theories in the understanding of human development.
I currently live in Philadelphia and attend Widener's Human Sexuality M.Ed. program which is very lovely indeed. Previously, I studied Psychology and Creative Writing at New York University and worked at the likes of Soapbox's Feminist Boot Camp, anti-street harassment movement Hollaback! and renegade guidebook company Not For Tourists; I have volunteered as Education Coordinator at SlutWalk NYC, helped out with Leonore Tiefer's New View Campaign. I have written articles and essays for The Qouch: The Queer Psychoanalysis Society, Time Out New York, Killing the Buddha, Feministe, LINEA: The Journal of the Art Students League of New York and others.
I am eager to share my beliefs and learn more information about sexuality, gender and identity with kind individuals and be of service to the community!
educating, exploring and challenging received notions of sexuality and gender in order to reach a more ethical, kindhearted understanding of individuality, responsibility and desire.
