I have spent a lot of time raising money for refugees in Tucson. I'm skilled at advertising and small business development. I have experience in acquiring microcredit loans by compiling business portfolios for loan applicants.
I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Near Eastern Studies. My education helped me connect with people all around the world. I'm most proud of the experiences I've earned with refugees. In Tucson, AZ I grew connected with the refugee community by helping to grant microcredit loans and teaching English.
I've been able to travel abroad to Cairo, Egypt where I taught English and studied Arabic. This gave me a greater advantage at the UA because the experience helped me connect with NGO's in Tucson, AZ.
I started out in Duvall, WA, a small town outside of Seattle. I grew up around musicians and small business owners. My modest roots inspires me to continue learning and to strive for excellence.
I imagine a world in which people are able to achieve success by using less.
