Tom Jandernoa is a landscape designer, graphic designer and artist. Tom's dynamic design background provides him the ability to fuse his passions for visual communication, sustainability and ecology to produce conscious, creative solutions. After receiving a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Dayton in 2005, he further developed his skills working for a design firm in Chicago. In '07 he took a position in Costa Rica working on a permaculture farm to expand his knowledge of sustainable agriculture. Tom moved to Brattleboro, VT in '09 where he provided his design skills to non-profit organizations involved in increasing community food security and reducing dependency on fossil fuels. In the summer of '09 he worked for the UVM Extension Youth Horticulture Project training at-risk youth to maintain a two-acre farm. Most recently, Tom received an M.A. in Sustainable Landscape Design and Planning from the accredited graduate program at the Conway School of Landscape Design.
