Position: International Communications Officer
Location: Hanoi
Salary: Small stipend, discussed upon request
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Period: Fulltime for three months from April 15, 2013 – July 19, 2013, but with potential to be ongoing

The Position
ENV requires an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced professional to fill the position of International Communications Officer. This position reports directly to the Communications Manager, and focuses on developing and improving the existing communications platforms, outputs and campaigns. Particular focus for this position is to build ENV's capacity in international communications. The preferred candidate will be a native English speaker. As this is a short-term position we would prefer a candidate who is already based in Hanoi.

Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) was established in 2000 as Vietnam's first local non-government organization to focus on the conservation of nature and the environment. ENV's young and passionate team is committed to working in innovative ways to educate the people of Vietnam about environmental issues, with particular focus on wildlife protection, and empowering them to become part of the solution.
ENV works across three main program areas:
- Reducing demand for and consumption of wildlife products
- Strengthening and supporting law enforcement in dealing with wildlife crimes
- Strengthening legislation and advocating effective government policy in addressing illegal wildlife trade
