Harlem RBI's mission is to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to Play, Learn and Grow. We use the power of teams to coach, teach and inspire youth to recognize their potential and realize their dreams.
We are currently seeking volunteer coaches for our baseball and softball teams.
Requirements
We are looking for volunteer coaches who:
- Are passionate about youth development.
- Understand the power of teamwork.
- Can provide a positive, team- based environment focused on teaching baseball or softball.
- Are organized, energetic and flexible.
- Are skilled communicators.
Some experience in baseball/softball is preferred, but not necessary.
We are looking for volunteer coaches who can commit between 10-15 hours a week during the 2013 season. The commitment is longer than the average volunteer opportunity, but the rewards are also much greater. You'll have the opportunity to coach youth in technical skills, teambuilding and personal development.
