RALLY FOR REPEAL Death Penalty Repeal IS 'Equal Justice For All'
Join National and MD State Organizations on January 28, 2013 to rally and meet with legislators to support REPEAL OF MARYLAND'S DEATH PENALTY.
On Monday January 28th, people from around the state will join victims' family members and community leaders to stand together in Annapolis, raise the call for equal justice, and work to repeal the death penalty. Now more than ever, we have an opportunity to make sure that our state puts victims' need first and ends this wasteful, arbitrary practice.
Will you join us in Annapolis?
We are organizing buses and carpools from around the state to ensure that everyone who cares about this issue has a chance to come. If you are a student and need transportation or have any questions about how to get to Annapolis, contact Jiva at: jmanske@aiusa.org.
After the rally, we will eat together before visiting Maryland state senators and delegates to ask them to be firm in their commitment to justice by supporting repeal. Please let us know if you're coming so that we can order enough food, prepare enough materials, and help schedule meetings.
After years of struggle, we're on the precipice of victory and justice, and your voice can make a difference! Register today, and we look forward to seeing you in Annapolis on the 28th! If you are interested in joining us grab some friends, and supporters and join us in Annapolis.
