Volunteer Opportunity description

Once a month our high school sophomores join us at Advisory Sessions. During Advisory students research colleges, write their college applications, and explore career and internship possibilities. Advisory is very important in our students journey to becoming first-generation college students and pursuing successful careers.

We need your help to run our Advisory sessions! Volunteers serve as Advisory Coaches, who work with a First Graduate staff member to facilitate these sessions. Advisory is a great way for volunteers to build relationships with one class of students. It is also an opportunity to see our students develop their future college and career plans. Advisory coaches do not need to have expertise in college or career coaching, but are encouraged to share their experiences with our students.

Advisory starts Wednesday, February 20th, 5:00 - 6:30pm. Advisory is every third Wednesday of the month, starting at 5:00pm through May 15th.
