Volunteer Opportunity description

The Environmental Volunteers has been training people to become educators for over 40 years. Come and learn how you can provide hands-on, interactive, relevant and fun opportunities for engaging students in scientific learning about the natural world.

The Environmental Volunteers will provide you with a comprehensive 6-week training course, and materials, activities, individualized support, and a flexible schedule that will allow you to experience the reward and satisfaction of connecting students with a greater appreciation for our environment.

Our "Living In California" training module takes place on Fridays from 9AM - 1:30PM in the Palo Alto Baylands beginning on January 25th - March 1st.

Our "Explorations in Ecology" training module takes place on Thursdays from 9AM - 1:30PM in our San Jose Office (Moorpark Ave.) beginning on March 7th - April 18th.
