Are you a person that doesnt follow orders and don`t believe everything people say to you???? Who are interested in volunteering but not just sitting in an orphanage and looking after the children?? Want to actually make a difference and be part of something?? Then if you are we want you.
My names Wayne Guttridge and I set up an organization called Experience Himalayan Nepal to help organize struggling organization in Nepal to achieve success. Our main purpose being to help make orphanages self supporting, fit for children to live in and more importantly have a future after the children grow up. We have just saved an orphanage from closing, arranged a sponsor and a new home all in the last 2 months. Now we are looking for people who are really interested in building a blue print for how orphanages should be run. Please read the following as this is happening in 2011. 1, A healthcare plan is being set up with the local doctor so not one child ever has to wait for medical care. 2. A consignment of books will be arriving from the UK to set up a study area for the children not a classroom like most have where children are forced into listening to volunteers trying to teach but a study room where children that want to learn can study with volunteer help. 3. A charity trekking guide who will donate money from his treks to the orphanage so with the extra money can come extra activities for the children. 4. Sponsor an orphanage programme where 100 people pay a small monthly fee and they get full details of the orphanage every month, chance to volunteer for a low price extra trekking etc. And all of this knowing that they can see exactly where the money is spent.
So if you have the ideas and can do better then get in touch because we want you with us or if you want to volunteer in a place where you ideas can come to fruition then we are the place for you. Any ideas welcome so please join us in our quest to make the best orphanage possible.
