Retreats for Active Duty Military, Veterans and Families of Military
We conduct our own retreats for Silver Lining Villages, as well as design and carry out retreats for other organizations working with Veterans and military. We also conduct small retreats for individual Veterans/active duty military and their families at several locations around metro Atlanta, GA and can accommodate any size group up to 250 people. We can bring in additional practitioners for our workshops or to develop a wonderful retreat to fit an organization's needs in addressing stress, PTS, MST (Military Sexual Trauma) and other emotional challenges, holistically and naturally.
We've had success using non-invasive alternative stress reduction techniques with individuals experiencing MST, and Post Traumatic Stress, such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
We use alternative practices very effectively, to address these common conditions reported by veterans and active duty military: Insomnia, anger and irritability, abandonment, guilt, shame, self-blame, feelings of mistrust and betrayal, loneliness & feelings of alienation, work related stress, physical aches and pains, depression and hopelessness, hypervigilance (on constant "red alert"), feelings of a limited future, emotional numbness, substance abuse and sleep apnea.
We want someone who can get corporate sponsorships per veteran, so that we can conduct this work without cost to the veterans. Volunteers needed to manage each of these programs, which includes scheduling, outreach and securing sponsorhips, of course under guidance. You won't be thrown under the bus! We need regular maintenance for it to succeed.
We need the following:
Military Sexual Trauma Retreat Manager
Military Family Retreat Manager
Active Duty/Veterans Retreat Manager
Please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, along with resume. Also include a statement about your interest in this subject matter, maybe a paragraph or two. Thanks!
