Special Events Volunteers
California Shakespeare Theater hosts many exciting special events and we are seeking capable volunteers to help us continue to make these events a success!
We need volunteers to help assist the Special Events Manager:
to plan and organize event logistics and lay out
- with coordination and facilitation of setup and/or break down
- with coordination with event venue and potential vendors, speakers, artists, etc.
- to pick up event supplies and décor materials
- in greeting and interacting with event attendees
- to track attendee feedback on events
This position gives volunteers the opportunity to attend a wide range of Cal Shakes special events and programs free of charge and contribute in bringing dynamic theater to the public. This is an excellent way to get involved with the Cal Shakes community!
Opportunities to head an events volunteer committee are available. Capable volunteers who are interested in volunteering long-term will be invited to do so.
This position requires availability during the evening and weekends dependent on scheduled events. Access to a vehicle is required.
Some lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time may be required for some special events.
