The Summit is the premier forum of its kind in the Midwest with a special focus on contemporary African issues, public policy advocacy and community empowerment. It brings together scholars, legislators, community activists, policy analysts and students, and individuals like you, to engage in constructive dialogue about Africa and the Diaspora.
The Resource Fair provides information and resources to the community on Immigration, Legal Assistance, Employment, Housing, Health, Education, Business, and many more.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR:
- Summit/Resource Fair Set-Up
- Registration (volunteers must be at Summit by 8:00am)
- Breakfast Coordinators (volunteers must be at Summit by 8:00am)
- Event Coordinators (directing flow of traffic at Summit/Resource Fair)
- Lunch Coordinators (volunteers must be at Summit by 12:00pm)
- Take-Down (volunteers must be at Summit by 3:00pm)
