Immediate opening available for an individual with experience in writing. Candidate would be responsible for contributing and editing articles for a roughly four- to eight-page newsletter that comes out three times a year digitally and once a year in print. In addition to creating original content, may have to compose articles from interviews, blogs, or other preexisiting writings and media. Individual must be comfortable conducting phone interviews and turning them into articles. Also, looking for someone with the ability to edit for clarity and grammar without sacrificing the integrity of the orginal writer's voice. This is very important, as some of the other contributers are youths where English is their second language. Experience with blogging, newspaper writing, or other journalistic endeavors is highly desireable, but not necessary. This position is a virtual unpaid one that would allow the candidate to work from home and around his/her schedule.
