Meals On Wheels of San Francisco is committed to the belief that all seniors have the right to live independently with dignity and respect in their own homes for as long as it is safely possible. It is our mission to provide isolated homebound seniors in San Francisco with nutritious meals, daily human contact, and supportive services to prevent their premature institutionalization. We believe in delivering more than a meal - we are nourishing the whole person.
With this arts & crafts opportunity, you will be creating as many BIRTHDAY cards as you can for our senior clients! We have a very specific guideline you MUST follow but other than that you can do this on your own time or arrange to come by our office where we'll have supplies for you! We can even make trips to your location (if it's within the SF bay area)!
Volunteer while having fun through this activity since most of our clients live alone, your card may be the ONLY card they receieve on their birthday!
