Volunteers will greet clients, provide information and assist them in processing initial applications for Navy Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) assistance. Orientation and training is provided. Incumbent should be available for a minimum of three hours twice a month and will normally not work more than 16 hours a week. Volunteers control their own work schedule. Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society offers reimbursement for childcare and round-trip mileage expenses. We also have an outstanding awards/recognition program. Great opportunity to gain job experience and make new friends.

The incumbent will commit for a minimum of 25 hours a month for a minimum of a four month initial commitment. Volunteers will not work more than 16 hours a week. This commitment may be continually renewed in minimum increments of four months. Volunteer Service may be discontinued by CSA Lead, COV, or Director for failure to abide by the minimum standards. If Volunteer is in need of time off and will not be able to make each monthly service commitment, the Volunteer is asked to communicate this with their Lead.
