Are you passionate about childhood education? Would you like the opportunity to connect a child to nature in a play setting? A "Play Partner" is a volunteer who is responsible for observing and facilitating children's play experiences that take part within the "Our Big Backyard" exhibit! In this new type of Children's Zoo, Play Partners assist our zoo patrons in experienceing nature first hand while having fun, exploring, and playing. This volunteer position requires a commitment of four hours a week either weekly or biweekly. There will be a set of trainings in March, and another set in May - Play Partners must attend one or the other, at a total of 8 training hours. Get in touch with us to hear more about it!
