Catholic Charities is looking for a Research Assistant to provide support to our Program Researcher in the plan, design, and implementation of a research project that will determine the social return on investment of our programs. The goal of this project is to evaluate the impact of our programs, identify outcome-driven solutions, and ensure that we are engaging in evidence based practices. The Research Assistant will assist the Program Researcher in gathering data, analyzing it, and finding correlations.
The Program Research Assistant must have a desire to take part in a wide range of work, including analyzing proposed data collection. Should have computer skills and data entry skills, as well as an adequate knowledge and experience in Economics, Statistics, or Social Sciences
This is an invaluable opportunity for an Economics, Statistics, or Social Science student to be mentored by a knowledgeable academic and researcher, while gaining experience in a professional environment and playing a large role in the creation and implementation of a Research Project. Additionally, as the Program Researcher Assistant, you will have a chance to be a part of a positive, passionate, and committed environment and make a valuable contribution to our agencies effectiveness in addressing the social concerns of our community. This is an excellent resume building experience and a Reference Letter will be provided upon the successful completion of the volunteer commitment.
